we have been on the search for the last 2 weeks...very very actively calling up agents, viewing flats and having long, heated discussions about what features to look out for. Budget, location, high/low floor, resale value, floor area, type of flat (4A or 5I or whatever), amenities, breezy-ness, noise level etc...
We finally found a place at DEpot Road. Saw the place like 3 times. It took abit of thinking before deciding to give it a third look and deciding on the place. SO last night, brought the parents down again for one last time. Mummy wanted to check the pipes and whatever. (they were supposed to just hang out for awhile..then go for line-dancing..but they ended up sitting there wif us throughout the 1+ hour.) We signed the Option to Purchase and hopefully...seller will sign it too.
Now waiting for a call from the housing agent. very very anxious. last night, i kept telling myself that if i get it, i get it. I have to leave it in the Lord's hands. But somehow, right now, as i'm sitting in a meeting, phone put to silent, i'm looking for the red light to flash. *blink blink* THis whole thing makes me rather kan chiong lor. *gulp*
so ya. waiting.
