it's been a most challenging and busy month for me while Dan is having his school hols. in many aspects, i've been very frustrated from time to time due to my overly burdened schedule. I think our relationship has been rather dramatically tested during this period. And the best thing is..i think we both really can feel it and realize how much growing is 'required'..and how this may be the way forever. We always grow...we always learn new things about each other. People change, people discover, people learn and people then change more.
Being together doesn't mean being perfect. It means sticking it out together. It means standing together, no matter what the weather is and how sticky situations may be. Sure we're quarrel and disagree. That's only normal when you put 2 people together. (duh!?)
The housing process has also taught us alot about each other...and more will come as we live out other aspects of our lives together.
Today, after a challenging day at church where everything and anything went wrong, we had a very good 'debrief' over dinner - just the two of us. I'm so happy we can grow together in this area and share our thoughts and ideas with each other. I hope we can continue to explore our ministry to the Lord in this aspect and grow together, closer to God.
