Cardiotocograph Results - Week 38

This is so way overdue...from last Tuesday's gynae visit. We brought camera and took a picture of the results since we don't get to keep it - they are kept for records by gynae mah!

The top as stated, measures the baby's heartbeat. The more volatile, the better - signifying a healthy and active baby apparently??

The bottom are the uterine contractions. A straighter line would be little activity - meaning little contractions. When there are REAL contractions nearing labour, it would be big "ups and downs" at steadily increasing intervals.

Darn, right now, sitting in my cubicle, i wouldn't even know what contractions are really!
